The Possible Russian Response To Trump's Piracy
A Russian flag is not sufficient protection for oil tankers. This could mean serious geopolitical ramifications.
Trump’s seizure of the (empty!) tricolor-flagged oil tanker Marinera yesterday enraged the Russian internet, but so far has gotten a simple condemnation from the Russian government. But as I noted on my opinion piece at Reading Junkie today, Trump’s escalation could have huge ramifications that change our lives forever (and no, it’s not nuclear war).

What Is This Page For?
I created this account to share media summaries of Russian language news in a neutral tone. You can believe it or not believe it I simply intend this as another tool for your media toolbox.
Then there is my blog at Reading Junkie, which I update sort of regularly with my opinions on current events and reviews of books and movies that I like (or dislike).
