I haven’t seen any followup on how many people complied with this evacuation order, but the majority of Ukrainians have access to a family dacha (vacation house) out on the countryside. It is easier to heat a house with a wood stove than an apartment with no electricity or running water.

Yesterday the Russian Ministry of Defense reported continuing strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure connected to the military industrial complex, as well as mercenary formations and other targets of a military nature.
The Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of Zelyonoe in the Zaporozhye region on Jan. 9. Like with other offensives over the past several months, Russian forces took advantage of heavy fog to conceal their movements from enemy drones.
Belgorod in Zaporozhye region has also been liberated.

Commander in Chief of the Soviet Air Force Constantine Vershinin had ordered the organization of a special military unit dedicated to the training of cosmonauts. In 1968, the center was named after Yuri Gagarin, the first human being to fly to the cosmos.
